School evacuated after mobile phone exploded

A school in Great Missenden was evacuated during the morning of Wednesday 23rd October 2019 after a mobile phone exploded.

At 8.40am firefighters were called to The Misbourne School, Misbourne Drive, Great Missenden. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Amersham fire station. An officer also attended.

The school was safety evacuated and the firefighters used a fan during the operation to make the building safe.
