New customer advice centre opened by Arriva in High Wycombe

A new customer advice centre has been opened by Arriva in the Eden Shopping Centre’s Bus Station.

Located at Eden Shopping Centre’s Bus Station, the new one stop travel shop is designed to be a hub for all customer information, whether people want to purchase tickets, obtain advice on timetables or routes or perhaps book journey’s or trips a little further afield.

The new Arriva customer advice centre in the heart of High Wycombe opened its doors on Thursday 14th November 2019.

Customers who attended on the opening day were able to meet the team, whilst enjoying celebratory cake and drinks as they explored the facilities on offer.

Stakeholders, including Amanda Covington and Paul Goodwin from Buckinghamshire County Council, Melanie Williams from High Wycombe BID, Jennie Le Fevre, Andrew Norton and John McCormack from the Eden management team, and local volunteer Damian Blake joined Arriva’s local sales team and senior management from the High Wycombe depot to formally cut the ribbon as the shop welcomed its first customers.

Simon Finnie, Area Managing Director for Arriva Midlands (South), explained: ‘Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we are relishing the opportunity to work alongside them, face to face, to ensure that we are doing everything we can to make their journey with Arriva the easiest and most affordable it can be.

The new Arriva Travel Shop will offer everything our passengers need to get on board – from tickets and timetables, advice and support, to snacks and refreshments, and all served with a friendly smile. We really believe it will make a huge difference to bus users locally, and we hope, will encourage more people to give us a try.‘

Robin Stewardson, Regional Travel Centre Manager, commented: ‘As regional manager for Arriva Travel Centres I am extremely excited about our new location in High Wycombe. Not only will it be the ‘one stop travel solution’ for our customers but a ‘hub’ of information and resource for all.‘
