Chiltern Railways to run services to and from London Marylebone on Boxing Day 2019 and extra late night trains on New Year’s Eve

Chiltern Railways have announced details of special Boxing Day 2019 train service as well as extra late night trains on New Year’s Eve.

The special festive timetable will operate between Tuesday 24th December 2019 and Thursday 2nd January 2020.

As in previous years special Boxing Day services will run between London Marylebone and Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village. Additional after midnight services from London on New Year’s Eve will also operate additional after-midnight services from London Marylebone.

Two trains will run every hour on Boxing Day 2019 from approximately 8.00am to 8.00pm. The Boxing Day services will call at :

  • London Marylebone.
  • Gerrards Cross.
  • Beaconsfield.
  • High Wycombe.
  • Princes Risborough.
  • Haddenham and Thame Parkway.
  • Bicester Village.
  • Oxford Parkway.

The first northbound train will depart from London Marylebone at 8.00am to Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village Station. At 8.15pm the last train will depart London Marylebone terminating at Princes Risborough at 9.01pm.

The first southbound train will depart from Princes Risborough at 8.40am to London Marylebone. At 8.35pm the last train will depart from Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village Station arriving at London Marylebone at 9.55pm.

Extra services from London Marylebone will be operated by Chiltern Railways during the early hours of Wednesday 1st January 2020. The additional services are :

  • 12.30am : London Marylebone to Banbury.
  • 1.00am : London Marylebone to High Wycombe.
  • 1.30am : London Marylebone to Oxford.
  • 1.40am : London Marylebone to Aylesbury (via Amersham).
  • 2.00am : London Marylebone to Aylesbury (via Princes Risborough).
  • 2.30am : London Marylebone to Banbury.
  • 2.40am : London Marylebone to Aylesbury (via Amersham).
  • 3.00am : London Marylebone to Aylesbury (via Princes Risborough).
