Man stabbed in the back during GBH incident in Priory Road, High Wycombe on Boxing Day 2019

A man was stabbed in the back during a GBH incident in Priory Road, High Wycombe on Boxing Day 2019.

On Thursday 26th December 2019, at around 2.00pm, an altercation occurred in Priory Road involving a group of up to four men. During the altercation a 19 year old man sustained a stab injury to his back which police believed was caused by a knife.

The 19 year old man was taken to hospital for treatment however his injuries were not life threatening and he has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, PC Alexander Trevivian, of High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, during which the victim sustained a stab wound injury. Luckily the injury was not life threatening and he is now out of hospital.

If anyone was in the area at this time, and saw or heard anything, I would ask that they come forward and help police with their enquiries.

This incident happened in a public area, where I believe it’s likely that someone would have seen or heard something.
