Man assaulted and robbed of a drone in a park in High Wycombe on Christmas Day 2019

A man was robbed of the drone he was flying in a park in High Wycombe on Christmas Day 2019.

On Wednesday 25th December 2019, between 7.30pm and 7.50pm, a 30 year old man was flying his drone in The Roperies park, near to Hatters Lane in High Wycombe, when he was approached by a man wearing a black jacket and trousers. The man assaulted the 30 year old man and threw him to the floor.

The drone and other electronic belongings belonging to the 30 year old man were stolen.

The man who carried out the assault and robbery left in the direction of Coopers Rise.

Investigating officer PC Richard Tulloch based at High Wycombe police station said: ‘I am appealing to anybody who was in the area of the Roperies Park at the time of the incident and believe that they may have witnessed this incident to make contact with police.
