Doncaster Rovers 3-1 Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe travelled to Doncaster for a League One match on Saturday 29th February 2020.

The first half saw Wycombe as the more dominant team with several attempts on the Doncaster goal. Sadly the Blues failed to take advantage and Doncaster took the lead in the forty-fifth minute through a shot from Niall Ennis which found the bottom right corner of the Wycombe net.

Doncaster started the second half looking to increase their lead, however in the sixty-seventh minute Wycombe levelled the score thanks to a shot from Adebayo Akinfenwa (Wycombe Wanderers) into the bottom right corner following a corner of the Doncaster goal.

In the seventy-first minute Doncaster took the lead again following a free kick from Benjamin Whiteman (Doncaster Rovers) with the cross finding Kieran Sadlier (Doncaster Rovers) who shot from the right side of the six yard box with the ball finding the centre of the Wycombe goal.

Doncaster increased their lead in the eighty-third minute after Jason McCarthy (Wycombe Wanderers) turned the ball into his own goal trying to clear a cross from Jason Lokilo (Doncaster Rovers).

Following today’s game Wycombe find themselves in fourth position in League One with fifty nine points from thirty four games.
