Police arrest man in connection with a rape investigation in Aylesbury

A man has been arrested by Thames Valley Police in connection with a rape investigation in Aylesbury.

On Friday 20th March 2020 an 18 year old man from Aylesbury was arrested in connection with an incident in the car park of a bus station in Friars Square, Aylesbury when a woman in her forties was raped. The incident took place sometime between 4.00am and 5.00am on Sunday 15th March 2020.

During the attack the woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital, however she has now been discharged.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Justin Harris, of Aylesbury Force CID said: ‘I would like to re-iterate our appeal for witnesses to this incident, which occurred at a time between 4am and 5am on Sunday (15/3).
