Man taken to hospital and put in induced coma following incident of GBH in High Wycombe
A man was taken to hospital and put in an induced coma following an incident of grievous bodily harm in High Wycombe.
On Saturday 21st March 2020, between 6.00pm and 9.00pm, a man in his thirties was assaulted in a property in Mahoney Court, High Wycombe.
The victim was taken to hospital serious but stable condition.
Investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Chandler, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this assault, or who has any information about what happened to please come forward.
The victim has sustained multiple facial fractures and remains in hospital, in an induced coma, at this time.
We believe that this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the general public.
A scene watch is currently in place and there will also be an increased police presence in the local area as officers carry out the investigation.
