House damaged by fire in Princes Risborough

A house caught fire in Princes Risborough during the early hours of Wednesday 10th June 2020.

At 5.26am firefighters were called to the incident in The Crescent, Princes Risborough. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Aylesbury fire station. Four officers attended.

The fire was on the ground floor of a two-storey house. Two hose reels, two sets of breathing apparatus, a fan and a thermal imaging camera were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The ground floor of the house was 50% damaged by fire and severely damaged by smoke. The neighbouring house was 20% damaged by smoke.
