A kitchen retailer in High Wycombe has defied the pressures of the High Street to report 80% growth in year-on-rear revenue.

The Kutchenhaus store in Oxford Street,High Wycombe serves customers across Buckinghamshire and is managed by franchisee owner Ashraf Choudhury who has operated the business success story for nearly three years.

Prior to the lockdown, the High Wycombe store growth was primarily due to the quality of the instore customer experience, the German designed and manufactured kitchens that Kutchenhaus is famous for and the increased consumer demand for affordable quality. The business is now forecasting a 12 month revenue growth target of 100 per cent as it looks to build on its success.

The team plan to open a second store once the current situation improves as they look to build further on their success.

Ashraf Choudhury, business owner of Kutchenhaus in High Wycombe said: ‘The past 12 months have been our best trading period since opening nearly three years ago and that is testament to the fantastic team we have. Between the good local connections and the quality German kitchens we have, our expertise is showing in results and we plan to continue this journey by improving on our results over the next year.

From the moment we went into lockdown, we managed to adapt our service through providing online communication. This proved popular with customers, helping to add to our success. We prefer customers to visit us by appointment to help us stick to guidelines whilst offering them the best service possible.

Kutchenhaus in High Wycombe boasts 2,000 square foot of retail space and employs seven staff across customer services and kitchen design.

Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said: ‘Kutchenhaus is on an ambitious growth path over the next 2-3 years, so it’s fantastic to see the progress Ashraf and the team are making at our High Wycombe business.

There’s no doubt trading conditions are tough for many brick and mortar retailers and the home improvement market is extremely competitive, but we find that our franchise owners are bucking the trend by creating an engaging store environment and delivering a high quality end product.

Established in 2004, Kutchenhaus is a franchise business owned by Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, Nobilia. Customers can both buy online at www.kutchenhaus.co.uk or one of its 28 showrooms across the UK.
