Police arrest five people after warrants are carried out in High Wycombe

Five people were arrested on Friday 24th July 2020 after police carried out warrants at address in High Wycombe.

Three warrants were carried out at addresses in High Wycombe under Section 8 of the PACE Act in connection with an investigation into an aggravated burglary and kidnap that happened on Saturday 18th July 2020.

The men who were arrested are aged between 18 years and 21 years old and are all from the High Wycombe area. They were arrested on suspicion of kidnap and aggravated burglary.

A number of items, such as clothing, weapons and mobile phones were seized from the properties that were searched.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rachael Peddie, of Wycombe CID, said: ‘We have executed these warrants in High Wycombe today in relation to an ongoing investigation into an aggravated burglary and kidnap that took place on 18 July 2020.

We are conducting a thorough investigation and hope that the arrests made yesterday will provide some reassurance to the local community.
