Police appeal for witnesses following burglary in Lane End

A burglary in Lane End has resulted in an appeal for witnessed by Thames Valley Police.

On Tuesday 4th August 2020, between 1.20pm and 1.30pm, a man damaged the front door of a property in Thorne Road, Lane End and gained entry.

The man began looking round the property however he was disturbed by two of the occupants, a woman in her sixties and a woman in her forties. The man then ran away from the property.

During the incident nothing was taken.

The man who forced entry to the property is described as white, between 5ft 11ins and 6ft tall, and had dark hair. He was wearing a bright pink long-sleeved button shirt and a white surgical mask.

Investigating officer Sergeant Harry Gehnich, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.
