Roadworks for the week ahead – Monday 7th September 2020

Week commencing Monday 7th September 2020 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Road surfacing

Booker Lane, High Wycombe – Rutland Avenue (loop) : Monday 7th September 2020 to Wednesday 9th September 2020 – Patching using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe – Desborough Park Road to Mill Lane : Thursday 10th September 2020 – Patching using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Valley Road, Hughenden – Coombe Lane to Cryers Hill : Friday 11th September 2020 to Tuesday 14th September 2020 – Patching using a night time road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

Stanley Avenue, Chesham – Park Road to End : Monday 7th September 2020 to Wednesday 9th September 2020 – Milespave works using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Willis Road, Haddenham – Churchway to Stanbridge Road : Monday 7th September 2020 to Friday 11th September 2020 – Milespave works using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Ickford Road, Shabbingdon – Sheldon Lane, Ickford to Marsh Road, Shabbington : Wednesday 9th September 2020 to Thursday 10th September 2020 – Microsurfacing using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Chearsley Road, Long Crendon – Near Chilton Road to 40/30mph sign : Thursday 10th September 2020 – Microsurfacing using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Park Road, Winslow – Avenue Road to entrance to the Winslow Centre : Thursday 10th September 2020 to Friday 11th September 2020 – Microsurfacing using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

General road maintenance

Continuation of lining works and road sweeping at various locations countywide.

Drainage Programme

A355 Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal – Elm Close to Kingsway : Monday 7th September 2020 to Wednesday 9th September 2020 – Drainage improvements using temporary traffic lights between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Bridge Improvement Programme

Ivy Lane, Great Brickhill – Bridge adjacent to the Three Locks Golf Club to Heath Road : Until Friday 30th October 2020 – Emergency repairs using a 24/7 road closure.

Footway Structural Repair Programme

Chadwell Path, Aylesbury – Various locations along length of footway : Monday 7th September 2020 to Wednesday 16th September 2020 – Improvements using local traffic management between 7.30am and 4.30pm.

Montague Road, Aylesbury – Penn Road (loop) : Monday 7th September 2020 to Friday 2nd October 2020 – Improvements using local traffic management between 7.30am and 4.30pm.

Safety Barrier Improvement Programme

A41 Aston Clinton Bypass, Aston Clinton – Woodlands Roundabout to B489 Lower Icknield Way slip road : Monday 7th September 2020 to Friday 11th September 2020 – Safety barrier upgrades : eastbound – using lane closures between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
