Police appeal for information following report of kidnap in Chesham
Thames Valley Police have launched appeal for information in connection with the report of a kidnap in Chesham.
On Saturday 5th September 2020, at around 2.00am, Thames Valley Police received a call that a man was forced into a red BMW 1 series in Chalk Hill, Chesham.
Police arrested a 20 year old man from Hillingdon on suspicion of kidnap, he has been released under investigation.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Simon Reid, of Amersham CID, said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please come forward.
We believe that there was a birthday party in the nearby area and would like to speak to anyone who has any information about it or who attended it.
