Two men injured following a collision involving a car and van on the M40

A car and van collided on the M40 during the afternoon of Friday 18th September 2020.

At 2.21pm firefighters were called to the incident on the southbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 5 (Stokenchurch) and Junction 4 (Handy Cross). Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Thame fire station. An officer also attended.

Nobody was trapped following the collision however two injured men were were assessed and treated by South Central Ambulance Service.

The firefighters made the scene safe.
