The cumulative and weekly rate of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population tested under Pillar 1 tests (those carried out in NHS laboratories) and Pillar 2 (testing by commercial partners of the mass-testing programme) for the upper-tier local authority of Buckinghamshire (only) is shown in the table below. Not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher.

* The figures in red in the table below show the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic of people who had had a positive test result for COVID-19 and died within 28 days of the first positive test. The actual cause of death may not be COVID-19 in all cases. People who died from COVID-19 but had not tested positive are not included and people who died from COVID-19 more than 28 days after their first positive test are not included.

Tuesday 20th October 2020

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Buckinghamshire has increased by 44 to 3,433, according to official figures published at 4.18pm on Tuesday 20th October 2020. However not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher. There have been two further deaths related to Covid-19, one each in the South Bucks and Wycombe areas.

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Buckinghamshire has increased by 70 to 3,389, according to official figures published at 5.47pm on Monday 19th October 2020. However not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher.

Sunday 18th October 2020

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Buckinghamshire has increased by 64 to 3,319, according to official figures published at 4.00pm on Sunday 18th October 2020. However not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher. There has been a further death related to Covid-19 in the Wycombe area.

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Buckinghamshire has increased by 70 to 2,439, according to official figures published at 9.23pm on Sunday 4th October 2020. However not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher.

Overnight on Friday 2nd October 2020 an issue was identified in the automated process that transfers positive cases data to PHE. The issue has now been resolved, however the cases by published date for Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2020 include additional cases with specimen dates between Friday 25th September 2020 and Friday 2nd October meaning the number of cases shown may be artificially high.

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Buckinghamshire has increased by 33 to 2,369, according to official figures published at 8.38pm on Saturday 3rd October 2020. However not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher. There has been a further death related to Covid-19 in the Wycombe area.

Overnight on Friday 2nd October 2020 an issue was identified in the automated process that transfers positive cases data to PHE. However not all those with the virus will have been tested so the actual figure may be higher. There has been a further death related to Covid-19 in the South Bucks area.
