Roadworks for the week ahead – Monday 5th October 2020

Week commencing Monday 5th October 2020 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Conventional Surfacing Programme

Station Road & Aylesbury End, Beaconsfield – Junction of A40 to Baring Road : Monday 5th October 2020 to Friday 9th October 2020 – GPRS utility identification survey works using a night time road closure between 7.45pm and 6.00am.

Cherry Rise, Chalfont St Peter – Whole length of road : Thursday 8th October 2020 – Carriageway works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Plane and Patch Programme

White Lion Road, Amersham – Pineapple Road to Little Reeves Avenue : Monday 5th October 2020 to Tuesday 6th October 2020 – Carriageway plane and patch works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

Iron Works Programme

Moat Lane, Prestwood – Whole length of road : Monday 5th October 2020 to Wednesday 14th October 2020 – Carriageway iron works using localised traffic management (Monday 5th to Thursday 8th October 2020) and a daytime road closure : 9th to 14th October 2020 – in operation between 9.30am and 3.00pm.

Bridge Improvement Programme

Ivy Lane, Great Brickhill – Bridge adjacent to the Three Locks Golf Club to Heath Road : Monday 5th October 2020 to Friday 30th October 2020 – Emergency bridge repairs using a 24-hour closure.

B488 Horton Road, Ivinghoe – 200m either side of the Grand Union canal bridge : Monday 5th October 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Bridge strengthening repairs using a 24-hour closure.

Footway Repair Programme

Cottesloe Road, Aylesbury – Churchill Avenue to Clover Lane : Monday 5th October 2020 to Friday 27th November 2020 – Footway improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 7.30am and 4.30pm.

Drainage Improvement Schemes

Chestnut Way, Longwick – Junction with Bell Crescent : Monday 5th October 2020 to Wednesday 7th October 2020 – Drainage improvement works using temporary traffic signals in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A355 Amersham Road, Beaconsfield – Opposite White Hill Farm : Monday 5th October 2020 to Thursday 8th October 2020 – Drainage improvement works using temporary traffic signals in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Taplow Common Road, Burnham – Junction with Parliament Lane : Monday 5th October 2020 to Friday 9th October 2020 – Drainage improvement works using temporary traffic signals in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
