Police appeal for witnesses following a robbery in London Road, High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a robbery in High Wycombe.

On Sunday 18th October 2020, at around 3.50pm, two 15 year old boys were cycling along the A40 London Road, near to the junction with Magpie Lane, when they were approached by three males who produced knives and threatened the 15 year old boys.

During the incident a wallet containing a bank card, a pair of earbud style earphones, a black puffa jacket and a New Balance bag were taken however two bicycles and an iPhone which were also taken have since been recovered.

During the incident nobody was injured.

Police are still looking for two of the males involved in the incident. The first is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall and between 15 and 17 years old. He was wearing a dark coloured puffa jacket and dark coloured clothing. The second was approximately 5ft 9ins tall and was also wearing a dark coloured puffa jacket. He was also wearing a paint balling mask.

A 14 year old boy from Ealing has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail.

Investigating officer PC Brian Kiernan, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This was a frightening experience for the two victims and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.
