Roadworks for the week ahead – Monday 16th November 2020
Week commencing Monday 16th November 2020 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Surfacing Programme
Briery Way, Amersham – Mill Lane to Mitchell Walk : Tuesday 17th November 2020 to Wednesday 18th November 2020 – Carriageway surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 7.30am and 6.00pm.
Townsend Road, Chesham – Broad Street to Bellingdon Road : Thursday 19th November 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Carriageway surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 7.30am and 6.00pm.
Micro Surfacing Programme
Ickford Road, Shabbington – Various locations : Monday 16th November 2020 to Tuesday 17th November 2020 – Carriageway Iron Works using a daytime road closure in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Crendon Road, Shabbington – Various locations : Tuesday 17th November 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Carriageway Iron Works using a daytime road closure on the 17 and 18 November 2020 and localised traffic management in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Queens Road / Harlow Road, High Wycombe – Various locations : Saturday 14th November 2020 to Wednesday 25th November 2020 – Carriageway Iron Works using localised traffic management and temporary traffic signals with a road closure in operation on Queens Road on Tuesday 24 between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Joint sealing Programme
A40 London Road, High Wycombe – Knaves Beech Roundabout : Monday 16th November 2020 to Tuesday 17th November 2020 – Carriageway Joint Sealing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Wycombe Lane, Wooburn Green – Various locations : Wednesday 18th November 2020 – Carriageway Joint Sealing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Stoke Green / Wexham Street, Stoke Poges – Roundabout section only : Thursday 19th November 2020 – Carriageway Joint Sealing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Bridge Improvement Programme
B488 Horton Road, Ivinghoe – 200m either side of the Grand Union Canal bridge : Monday 16th November 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Bridge Strengthening repairs using a 24 hour closure.
Station Road, Loudwater – A40 Junction with Station Road : Monday 16th November 2020 to Friday 4th December 2020 – Retaining Wall Refurbishment using temporary traffic signals in operation 24 / 7.
Footway Structural Repair Programme
Cottesloe Road, Aylesbury – Churchill Avenue to Clover Lane : Monday 16 November 2020 to Friday 27th November 2020 – Footway Improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
London Road, Great Missenden – School playing field entrance to fire station : Monday 16th November 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Footway Improvement works using temporary traffic signals in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm (3.00pm during school term time).
Coombe Gardens, Hughenden – Coombe Hill to Wedgewood Drive : Monday 16th November 2020 to Friday 4th December 2020 – Footway Improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
