Police appeal for witnesses following an assault in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an assault in High Wycombe.

On Friday 26th March 2021, at around 7.45pm, an 18 year old man was walking along Kingsmead Recreation Ground when he was approached by another man who cut the face of the 18 year old man with a flick knife.

The 18 year old man fled the scene however during the incident he had sustained a laceration to his face that required stitches following treatment at Wycombe Hospital.

The man who carried out the attack is described as a black man who was wearing black gloves.

Investigating officer PC Sophie Hill, based at High Wycombe police station said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or has any information, to please get in touch.
