A man has been sentenced to three years imprisonment for a burglary in High Wycombe.
On Tuesday 18th May 2021, at Aylesbury Crown Court, a 52 year old man of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to one count of burglary. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment for burglary.
The sentencing relates to an incident that took place just before 8.00am on Wednesday 14th April 2021 when the 52 year old man gained entry to a property in Amersham Hill in High Wycombe through a window.
The home owner was alerted by the noise and escorted the 52 year old man out of the property. The 52 year old man was then arrested later the same day and charged on Thursday 15th April 2021.
The conviction follows an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
