Motorist sustained serious injuries during a collision on the A40 in Beaconsfield

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury road traffic collision in Beaconsfield.

On Thursday 27th May 20201, at around 12.25pm, a silver Honda Jazz collided with a black Nissan Navara on the A40 at the junction with Potkiln Lane in Beaconsfield.

The driver of the Honda Jazz, a woman aged in her seventies, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Nobody else was injured as a result of the collision.

Investigating officer, PC Jess Barker, of the Roads Policing Unit in Taplow police station, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses to this road traffic collision, during which a woman aged in her seventies sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment.

I’d specifically appeal to anyone who has a dashcam and was travelling on the A40 at or near to the time of this collision, to please review it and contact us with any information.
