Police appeal for witnesses after a man was punched in the head during an assault in Desborough Road, High Wycombe
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police after a man was assaulted in Desborough Road, High Wycombe.
On Saturday 12th June 2021, at around 10.40pm, a 46 year old man was assaulted in Desborough Road, High Wycombe.
A man punched the 46 year old man in the head causing him to fall to the ground. The 46 year old man suffered scratches, cuts and bruises to his head and eyes and his body was bruised from the fall. He was taken to Wycombe Hospital for medical treatment.
The assault was unprovoked and the suspect did not take any of the 46 year old man’s belongings.
Police have a description of the attacker who carried out the assault, he is described as a white man and around 30 years old, approximately 1.9m tall with short, blond hair and was wearing shorts at the time of the incident. He was also driving a silver car.
Investigation Support Officer Eric Lunn of the Investigation Unit at High Wycombe police station said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or may have information about the suspect to contact us.
We also encourage any drivers who may have dash cam footage of the moments leading up to the assault, or the assault itself to get in contact.
Thames Valley Police takes assaults seriously. Members of the public have the right to feel safe when out and about and we are investigating thoroughly.
