Appeal for witnesses launched by police following an assault in Aylesbury

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an assault in Aylesbury.

On Friday 2nd July 2021, at around 8.45pm, three 15 year old girls were playing football in the Vale Park, Aylesbury. The offender approached the victims, became verbally abusive, poured alcohol over the three victims and pulled one victim’s hair.

Investigating officer, PC Charlie Vere-White, of the Incident and Crime Response Team based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘I would like to appeal to anybody who was in Vale Park at around 8.45pm on Friday evening and who witnessed this incident to please contact 101, quoting reference number 43210292729.

Police have arrested a 19 year old woman from Stone, Buckinghamshire on suspicion of three counts of common assault and has since been released on conditional police bail.
