Fire destroyed a cruiser on the River Thames at Marlow
A river cruiser was destroyed by fire on the River Thames at Marlow during the early hours of Tuesday 13th July 2021.
At 12.22am firefighters were called to the incident off Riverwoods Drive. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as two from Maidenhead fire station, one from Beaconsfield fire station and the Water Rescue Unit from Beaconsfield. An officer also attended.
A main jet, a hose reel, a portable pump and a thermal imaging camera were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
