Police appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Aylesbury

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a robbery in Aylesbury.

On Thursday 12th August 2021, at around 11.00pm, a 24 year old man was approached by a man on Griffin Lane near Goldswain End. The 24 year old man was then attacked by the other man who stole a mobile phone and an amount of cash from the 24 year old man.

The 24 year old man did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Thomas Booth, based at Aylesbury Police Station, said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.

Police have arrested a 27 year old man from Aylesbury on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail with conditions.
