Police appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A413 Amersham Road at Gerrards Cross
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a fatal collision on the A413 Amersham Road at Gerrards Cross.
On Sunday 29th August 2021, at about 8.50am, a silver Mercedes was involved in a collision with a bicycle on the southbound carriageway of the A413 Amersham Road at Gerrards Cross.
Sadly, the rider of the bicycle, a 78 year old man, was killed a a result of the collision.
Officers from Thames Valley Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Investigating officer, PC Mellissa Wells, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: ‘This was a tragic incident which has resulted in the death of a 78-year-old man.
