Bus stop suspensions and service diversions for the week ahead – Monday 27th September 2021

Week commencing Monday 27th September 2021 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

Station Road, Quainton (between the Crossroads junction and the A41) : Until 31st December 2021. Due to works by HS2 this section of road will be closed. Bus route 16 will travel to / from Waddesdon via Quainton Road in both directions during this period.

Marsh Gibbon Road, Poundon : Tuesday 31st August to Friday 29th October 2021. Due to East West Rail works this road will be closed during this period. Routes 16 and 18 will turn after serving the ‘Crown PH’ stops in Twyford and travel to Marsh Gibbon via Charndon. The ‘Manor House’ stops on Bicester Road and the ‘Poundon Turn’ stops on Marsh Gibbon Road will not be served.

Lycrome Road, Chesham : Wednesday 22nd to Monday 27th September 2021. Due to Affinity Water works this road will be closed. Buses to and from Hemel Hempstead will divert using Eskdale Avenue and Lye Green Road and will not serve stops between The Jolly Sportsman and Rushmere Lane.

A41 Bicester Road, Aylesbury / Waddesdon : Monday 27th September 2021 to Friday 1st October 2021, 7.00pm to 6.00am. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed on these nights between Blackgrove Road and Aylesbury Vale Parkway. Evening route 16 and 17 buses will need to divert and will not serve stops between Aylesbury town centre and Blackgrove Road.

Waddesdon Hill, Upper Winchendon : Monday 27th to Thursday 30th September 2021, 8.00am to 4.00pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed. School bus 613 will divert and will be unable to serve Upper Winchendon on these days.

Chessmount Rise / Pheasant Rise, Chesham : Monday 27th September 2021 to Friday 8th October 2021. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works these roads will be closed. Buses 71 and 73 will be unable to serve stops here during this period.

Main Street, Chetwode : Monday 27th September 2021 to Monday 11th October 2021. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed and the Tuesday only 133 bus service will be unable to serve Chetwode on Tuesday 28th September 2021 and Tuesday 5th October 2021.

Bus Stop Closures

Marsworth Road, Pitstone : Monday 16th August 2021 to Thursday 30th September 2021. Due to developer works in the vicinity the ‘Playing Fields’ stop for journeys towards Ivinghoe will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Albion Road’ stop instead, located further along the Marsworth Road.

A41 Tring Road, Aylesbury : Monday 13th to Thursday 30th September 2021, 9am to 4pm. Due to development works in the vicinity the two ‘Holiday Inn’ stops will not be served during this period.

A40 Wycombe Road, Studley Green : Friday 17th to Wednesday 29th September 2021. Due to works on behalf of SSEN the ‘St Francis Road’ stop will not be served on journeys from Stokenchurch during these days. Passengers are advised to use ‘The Studley Arms’ stop instead.

Chartridge Lane, Chesham : Thursday 23rd to Monday 27th September 2021. Due to Affinity Water works the two ‘Old Sax Lane’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Buslins Lane’ stops instead.

Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe : Thursday 23rd to Monday 27th September 2021. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach the two ‘Half Moon PH’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Oakridge Road’ stops instead.

Lincoln Hatch Lane, Burnham : Friday 24th September 2021, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Due to works on behalf of Thames Water the ‘Garibaldi PH’ stop will not be served. Passengers are advised to wait where safe.

Wycombe Road, Prestwood : Friday 24th to Tuesday 28th September 2021. Due to Affinity Water works the two ‘Holy Trinity Church’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hildreth Road’ stops instead.

Sheepcote Dell Road, Holmer Green : Friday 24th September 2021, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to works on behalf of BT the ‘Sheepcote Dell Road’ stop will not be served on journeys towards High Wycombe.

A41 Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury : Friday 24th to Tuesday 28th September 2021. Due to works on behalf of KN the ‘Holiday Inn’ stops will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bedgrove Lights’ stops instead.

Chartridge Lane, Chesham : Monday 27th September 2021 to Sunday 7th November 2021. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the stop opposite Chiltern Hills Academy will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Berkeley Avenue’ stop located further up Chartridge Lane.

Duck Lake Close, Maids Moreton : Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th September 2021. Due to Anglian Water works the two ‘Buckingham Arms’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Avenue Road’ stops on the A413 instead.

A4007 Slough Road, Iver : Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th September 2021. Due to works by Shift the ‘Post Meadow’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Swallow Street’ stops instead.

Gold Hill West, Chalfont St Peter : Wednesday 29th September 2021 to Friday 1st October 2021. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Gold Hill West’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Leachcroft’ stops instead.

Bath Road, Taplow : Thursday 30th September 2021 to Tuesday 12th October 2021. Due to SSE works the two ‘Ellington Road’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Dumb Bell PH’ stops instead.
