Man injured during collision involving a van and a cyclist on the A413 at Chalfont St Giles
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury road traffic collision on the A413 at Chalfont St Giles.
On Saturday 23rd October 2021, at around 2.35pm, a collision occurred between a silver van and cyclist on the roundabout of the A413 and Vache Lane.
The cyclist, a man in his forties, sustained injuries to his shoulder that required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.
However van involved in the incident did not stop at the scene. The driver of the van is described as an Asian woman.
Investigating officer, PC Robin Nickless, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Amersham police station, said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
I’d also ask any motorists with dash-cams who may have been in the local area around the time this happened to check any footage in case it may have captured something that could help with the investigation.
