Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 22nd November 2021

Week commencing Monday 22nd November 2021 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Conventional Surfacing Programme

Swan Road, Iver : Monday 22nd November 2021 to Tuesday 23rd November 2021 – Surfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.00pm.

New Street, Waddesdon : Monday 22nd November 2021 to Friday 3rd December 2021 – Footway improvement works : To be completed before the surfacing works – using a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Nutkins Way, Chesham : Wednesday 24th November 2021 to Thursday 25th November 2021 – Surfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.00pm.

Freemantle Road, Aylesbury : Monday 15th November 2021 to 14th December 2021 – Footway improvement works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Ambleside, Aylesbury – Cambourne Avenue to Hambledon Close : Monday 15th November 2021 to 23rd December 2021 – Footway improvement works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Junction Improvement Works

A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Monday 20th September 2021 to June 2022 – Works will continue near to the Bicester Road junction with Sir Henry Lee Crescent / Paradise Orchard, on the North-West bound traffic lane 1. Our works will include excavation for the installation of new kerbs, drainage and utility works, and surfacing of the new lane, with a contraflow system setup to maintain 2-way traffic at all times. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Road Markings – Lining Refresh Scheme

A41 – Waddesdon to Bedgrove : Monday 25th October 2021 to Wednesday 1st December 2021 – Lining refreshment works using 2 / 3 and 4-way lights and lane closures in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 5.00am.

North Road, Widmer End – North Road to Windmill Lane : Monday 22nd November 2021 to Wednesday 24th November 2021 – Lining works using 3-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Brook End, Weston Turville – Brook End to Aylesbury Rugby Football Club : Monday 22nd November 2021 to Wednesday 24th November 2021 – Lining works using 2-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Drainage Improvement Schemes

Ferry Lane and Bockmer Lane, Medmenham : Monday 22nd November 2021 to Friday 26th November 2021 – Drainage improvement works using give and take traffic management on Ferry Lane and a road closure on Bockmer Lane, in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Network Improvement Schemes

Walton Road, Aylesbury – Near to the junction with Highbridge and Turnfurlong : Monday 22nd November 2021 to Wednesday 24th November 2021 – Installation of high friction surfacing, sign works and vegetation clearance using four-way lights, in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A422 Buckingham Road – At the crossroads near to Water Stratford Lodge : Thursday 25th November 2021 to Wednesday 1st December 2021 – Installation of high friction surfacing, lining, sign works and vegetation clearance using four-way lights, in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Bridge Schemes

High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Monday 4th October 2021 to Friday 4th February 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a footway closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Mill Lane, Taplow – Mill Lane Bridge : Monday 1st November 2021 to Friday 3rd December 2021 – Bridge demolition for Berry Hill Bridge; localised traffic management for site access point and compound area and a segregated area for pedestrians and cyclist movements. Working hours are Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.
