Man assaulted with a weapon described as a machete during GBH incident in High Wycombe
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a GBH incident in High Wycombe.
On Monday 29th November 2021, between 10.15pm and 10.45pm, an altercation took place between two men on Benjamin Road.
One of the men, aged in his forties, went to his black Ford Galaxy car to leave the scene however he was followed by another man who assaulted him with a weapon described as a machete.
The man in his forties sustained deep lacerations to his hand and forearm for which he required treatment in hospital.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Richard Tulloch, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.

Police have charged a man in connection with this investigation.
