Appeal for witnesses launched by police following an attempted burglary in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an attempted burglary in High Wycombe.

On Saturday 11th December 2021, at around 7.45pm, a man used a pair of garden shears in an attempt to gain access to the rear of a property through the kitchen window of a property in Campbell Close, High Wycombe. The kitchen window was damaged during the incident.

The offender is described as a white man, of skinny build aged between 28 and 38 with mousey hair, a long skinny nose and is between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 8ins tall.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Andrew Cummins based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I am appealing to anyone who witnessed or knows anything about this incident to please come forward.
