Police appeal for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe.

On Saturday 5th February 2022, at around 12.49am, a black Renault Clio was travelling along Marlow Hill towards High Wycombe town centre when was involved in a collision with a lamp post.

All five occupants of the car, four men and a woman, aged between 16 and 24, were taken to hospital for treatment. Two have been discharged, whilst three remain with serious injuries.

Investigating officer, PC Thomas Piercy, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: ‘We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.

We believe that there were a number of cars using the Marlow Hill road in both directions when this incident happened.

We’d also ask any motorists who were in the local area around the time of the incident to check dash-cam footage in case it has captured something that may help the investigation.
