Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 21st February 2022

Week commencing Monday 21st February 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe : Monday 4th January 2022 to Monday 30th May 2022. Due to long term Cadent Gas works, Arriva bus route 48 will divert via Dashwood Avenue and will not serve stops along the West Wycombe Road. Other services along here will operate as normal but May 2022 be delayed at times.

A4007, Slough Road, Iver Heath : Monday 7th to Tuesday 22nd February 2022 (except weekend 12th / 13th February 2022), 7.00am to 5.00pm (9.30am to 3.30pm on 21st and 22nd February 2022). Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed between Bangors Road North and the county boundary, during this period. Bus route 3 will divert via Bangors Road North, A412 Denham Road and the A4020 Oxford Road into Uxbridge and vice versa. Stops along Slough Road between Bangors Road North and Uxbridge will not be served.

Fidler’s Field, Quainton : Monday 14th February 2022 to Thursday 31st March 2022. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed at times during this period. Bus route 16 will run a revised temporary timetable serving Quainton between Waddesdon and Aylesbury in both directions.

Manor Farm Road, Barton Hartshorn : Monday 14th February 2022 to Friday 8th April 2022. Due to Anglian Water works this road will be closed during this period. The Tuesday only 133 will need to divert and won’t serve Barton Hartshorn during this period.

Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath : Saturday 19th and Saturday 26th February 2022. Due to Thames Water works this road will be closed on these Saturdays. Bus route 36 will divert between High Wycombe and Flackwell Heath via the London Road, Station Road, Treadaway Hill and Swains Lane resuming normal route at The Common. The service will be unable to serve stops on Marlow Hill, Daws Hill Lane and Heath End Road.

London Road, Great Missenden : Monday 21st to Friday 25th February 2022. Due to Affinity Water works this road will be closed on these days. Bus route 177 will enter and leave Great Missenden via the A413 and Link Road. Stops on the High Street and London Road will not be served.

Water Stratford Road, Water Stratford : Monday 21st to Thursday 24th February 2022. Due to Western Power works this road will be closed bus routes 132 and 133 will not serve stops along this road on these days.

Brill Road, Oakley : Monday 21st to Friday 25th February 2022. Due to Thames Water works this road will be closed during this week. Bus routes 111, 112 and 113 will travel between Brill and Oakley via the Thame Road, turning in Brill. As such the ‘Square’ stops on Oakley Road, Brill will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the Church Street stops instead.

Wycombe Lane, Wooburn Green : Monday 21st to Sunday 27th February 2022. Due to a works to put install a new sewer this road will be closed on these days. After serving the stops on The Green in Wooburn Green, bus route 37 will divert via Whitepit Lane, Straight Bit, Swains Lane, Treadaway Hill, resuming normal route on Station Road. Stops on Boundary Road and Wycombe Lane will not be served during this week.

Little Horwood Road, Winslow : Monday 21st February 2022 to Friday 25th March 2022. Due to East-West Rail works this road will be closed. Z&S Transport’s service 50 will travel between Little Horwood and Winslow via Great Horwood and run to a revised temporary timetable

Old Rectory Lane / Lower Road, Higher Denham : Tuesday 22nd February 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Openreach works Old Rectory Lane will be closed at these times. Bus route 581 will divert and will not be able to serve the ‘Community Centre’ stop on Lower Road on this day.

Park Road, Stoke Poges : Tuesday 22nd to Sunday 27th February 2022. Due to Thames Water works this road will be closed and bus route 53 will need to divert during these days. Stops on Park Road will not be served.

High Street, Ivinghoe : Monday 21st to Sunday 27th February 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on these dates. After serving the ‘Playing Fields’ stops on Marsworth Road bus route 61 and the Sunday route 50 will divert via Vicarage Road and the Upper Icknield Way, missing the stops in Ivinghoe during this period.

Whielden Street, Amersham : Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th February 2022. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed. Bus route 1 and 1A will divert via the A413 and Gore Hill. Stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane will not be served on these days.

Bus Stop Closures

Fennels Farm Road, Flackwell Heath : Wednesday 2nd to Monday 28th February 2022. Due to works on behalf of Swish Fibre the two stops on Fennels Farm Road will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Swains Lane or Oakland Road instead.

Straight Bit, Flackwell Heath : Wednesday 2nd February 2022 to Friday 1st April 2022. Due to rolling works with lights on behalf of Swish Fibre the stops between Old Kiln Road and Northern Woods will not be served at times during this period. Passengers are advised to wait where safe away from the works and hail clearly to the driver to stop.

Amersham Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 15th to Tuesday 22nd February 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the ‘Maybrook Gardens’ stop for journeys towards Hazlemere will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to us the ‘Amersham Hill Drive’ stop instead.

Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath : Friday 18th February 2022 to Friday 4th March 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Bucks College’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Rugwood Road’ stops instead.

Town Lane, Wooburn Green : Monday 21st February 2022, 8.00am to 6.00pm. Due to Openreach works the two ‘Cemetery’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Brookbank’ stops instead.

Aylesbury Road, Monks Risborough : Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd February 2022. Due to works by Swish Fibre the two ‘Peter’s Lane’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Holloway’ stops instead.

Church Road and New Road, Penn : Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd February 2022. Due to works by Thames Water the ‘Church Road’ and ‘New Road / Church Road’ stops at the junction with Cock Lane will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hillcroft Road’ stops located on New Road instead.

Daws Hill Lane, High Wycombe : Monday 21st to Friday 25th February 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the two ‘St Michael’s School’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Pine Trees’ stop instead (stop located on the eastbound side of the road but served in both directions.

London Road, High Wycombe : Monday 21st February 2022 to Wednesday 2nd March 2022. Due to Instal works the two ‘London Road Lidl’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Chestnut Avenue’ stops instead.

Wycombe End, Beaconsfield : Monday 21st to Friday 25 February 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Butlers Court Road’ stop for journeys towards the town centre will not be served at these times.

Finings Road, Lane End : Tuesday 22nd to Saturday 26th February 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the two ‘Village Hall’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stop on The Row instead.

Buckingham Road, Aylesbury : Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th February 2022. Due to works by UKPN the ‘Opposite Horse and Jockey PH’ stop for journeys towards the town centre will not be serve on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Waddon Chase’ stop located further up the Buckingham Road.
