Police appeal for witnesses following an incident of a man approaching two girls in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an incident in which a man approached two girls in High Wycombe.

On Thursday 24th February 2022, at around 6.30pm, two teenage girls were at the junction of Lime Avenue in High Wycombe when they were approached by a man who made inappropriate comments and requests towards them. One of the girls then rang a friend and the man walked away towards the care home.

The man involved in the incident is described as an Asian man with a slight accent. He was medium build, around 40 years old, wearing a navy blue hoody with the hood up and black jogging bottoms.

Investigating officer, PC Jennifer Atwill, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this interaction and for any dash-cam footage regarding this incident to please get in touch.
