Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 14th March 2022

Week commencing Monday 14th March 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe : Monday 4th January 2022 to Monday 30th May 2022. Due to long term Cadent Gas works, Arriva bus route 48 will divert via Dashwood Avenue and will not serve stops along the West Wycombe Road. Other services along here will operate as normal but May 2022 be delayed at times.

Fidler’s Field, Quainton : Monday 14th February 2022 to Thursday 31st March 2022. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed at times during this period. Bus route 16 will run a revised temporary timetable serving Quainton between Waddesdon and Aylesbury in both directions.

Manor Farm Road, Barton Hartshorn : Monday 14th February 2022 to Friday 8th April 2022. Due to Anglian Water works this road will be closed during this period. The Tuesday only 133 will need to divert and won’t serve Barton Hartshorn during this period.

Little Horwood Road, Winslow : Monday 21st February 2022 to Friday 25th March 2022. Due to East-West Rail works this road will be closed. Z&S Transport’s service 50 will travel between Little Horwood and Winslow via Great Horwood and run to a revised temporary timetable.

Denham Lane, Chalfont Common : Wednesday 9th to Monday 14th March 2022. Due to emergency Cadent Gas works this road has been closed. Bus routes 106 and 107 will divert missing the stops on Denham Lane. The nearest alternative stops are on Copthall Lane, Rickmansworth Lane or Chesham Lane.

Winslow Road, Wingrave : Monday 14th to Friday 18th March 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on these days. Bus route 165 will enter and leave Wingrave village via Leighton Road calling at the Church Street stop only. Stops on Winslow Road will not be served.

Cressex Link / John Hall Way, High Wycombe : Monday 14th to Friday 18th March 2022, 8.00pm to 6.00am. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works on the roundabout this junction will be closed. Bus routes 8 and 32A will divert missing the stops on Cressex Link and John Hall Way.

Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath : Saturday 19th and Saturday 26th March 2022. Due to Thames Water works this road will be closed on these two Saturdays. Bus route 36 will divert via the London Road, Station Road, Treadaway Hill and Swains Lane resuming normal route on Straight Bit. As such will not serve stops on Marlow Hill, Daws Hill Lane or Heath End Road.

Bus Stop Closures

Straight Bit, Flackwell Heath : Wednesday 2nd February 2022 to Friday 1st April 2022. Due to rolling works with lights on behalf of Swish Fibre the stops between Old Kiln Road and Northern Woods will not be served at times during this period. Passengers are advised to wait where safe away from the works and hail clearly to the driver to stop.

Werner Terrace, Calvert : Monday 28th February 2022 to Friday 15th April 2022. Due to HS2 works the stop on Werner Terrace will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stop on Brackley Road instead.

New Road, High Wycombe : Wednesday 2nd to Tuesday 15th March 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the two ‘Squirrel Lane’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Turnpike Corner’ stops instead.

Granborough Road, Winslow : Monday 7th to Friday 18th March 2022. Due to works by Nexus Utilities the ‘Burley’s Road’ stop for journeys towards Aylesbury will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Tinkers End’ stop located further along Granborough Road.Ballinger Road, Ballinger, Tuesday 8th to Monday 21st March 2022. Due to works by UK Power Solutions the two ‘Blackthorne Lane’ stops will not be served during this period.Passengers are advised to wait where safe, away from the works and hail to the driver to stop.

Bath Road, Taplow : Wednesday 9th to Tuesday 15th March 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Sainsbury’s’ stops will be closed during these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bishops Centre’ stops instead.

Red Lion Street, Chesham : Wednesday 9th to Wednesday 16th March 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the two ‘Red Lion Street’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the Broadway stops or the ‘Wild Rover PH’ stops on Amersham Road.

London Road, High Wycombe : Thursday 10th, Friday 11th and Monday 14th March 2022. Due to Openreach works the two ‘London Road Lidl’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Chestnut Avenue’ stops instead.

Berkeley Avenue, Chesham : Friday 11th to Tuesday 15th March 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Longfield Avenue’ stop for journeys to the town centre will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Pulpit Close’ stop on Berkeley Avenue or ‘The Warren’ stop on Chartridge Lane.

Hicks Farm Road, High Wycombe : Saturday 12th to Wednesday 16th March 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Baring Road’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Hollis Road instead.

Browns Road / Pond Approach, Holmer Green : Monday 14th to Friday 25th March 2022. Due to works by CG Utilities the two ‘Browns Road’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use either the ‘Copners Drive’ stops on Browns Road or ‘The Pond’ stops on Pond Approach instead.

Moreton Road, Buckingham : Monday 14th to Friday 25th March 2022. Due to Anglian Water works the two ‘Western Avenue’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Highlands Road’ stops instead.

Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath : Monday 14th March 2022 to Friday 1st April 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Bucks College Group’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Rugwood Road’ stops instead.

Telford Way, High Wycombe : Wednesday 16th March 2022, 8.00am to 4.00pm. Due to Openreach works the ‘Telford Way’ stop for journeys towards Downley will not be served between these times. Passengers are advised to board and alight where safe away from the works area.

Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross : Wednesday 16th to Friday 18th March 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the two ‘Fulmer Lane’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Heusden Way’ stops instead.

Station Road, Amersham : Wednesday 16th to Friday 18th March 2022. Due to Affinity Water works ‘The Rise’ stop for journeys towards Amersham Railway Station will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Beech Grove’ stop instead.

High Street, Edlesborough : Wednesday 16th to Tuesday 22nd March 2022. Due to UKPN works the ‘Combined School’ stop for journeys towards Dunstable will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Playing Fields’ stop instead.

Chesham Road, Amersham : Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th March 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the two ‘Hervines Road’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Oakfield Corner’ stops located on Hill Avenue instead.

Gray’s Lane, Downley, High Wycombe : Thursday 17th to Monday 21st March 2022. Due to works on behalf of Fibre and Wireless the ‘Taylors Turn’ stop will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stop located further back along Gray’s Lane.
