Man stabbed during a fight inside a fast food restaurant in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an assault in a fast food restaurant in High Wycombe.

On Saturday 26th March 2022, at around 3.50am, an argument broken out between four or five men inside the McDonalds restaurant in the High Street, High Wycombe.

Following the argument a fight broke out during which a man in his twenties received what are thought to be stab wounds. The injured man attended Stoke Mandeville hospital for treatment, however he has since been discharged.

Police officers have made two arrests in connection with this incident. A 19 year old man and a 21 year old man, both from High Wycombe, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant James Rocks of CID based at High Wycombe, said: ‘We are investigating this incident following this altercation in which a man has been stabbed.

We are following a number of lines of enquiry.

We believe that a number of people may have filmed this incident on their phones, as such we would ask anyone who has video footage of the incident or may have witnessed it to please come forward.
