Man sustained a broken nose during an assault in Chesham
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an assault in Chesham.
On Wednesday 30th March 2022, at around 4.25pm, an incident of disorder broke out involving the occupants of a black BMW 1 series and a blue Vauxhall Astra on the A416 at the roundabout with Amy Lane in Chesham.
During the incident five men aged between 18 and 27 assaulted a teenage man. The teenager sustained a broken nose and bruising and received treatment at Wexham Park Hospital. He has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, PC Michael Painter, based at Amersham police station, said: ‘I am appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have information about this incident, to please come forward.
If you have any CCTV footage or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.

Police have arrested four people, all from Buckinghamshire, in connection with the incident they are:
- A 19 year old man who has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
- A 19 year old man who has been arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a controlled class B drug.
- A 18 year old man who has been arrested on suspicion of assault and violent disorder.
- A 27 year old man who has been arrested on suspicion of assault and violent disorder.
All those arrested have been released on bail.
