Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 11th April 2022

Week commencing Monday 11th April 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Public Holidays 2022

Most bus companies will operate their Sunday timetables on the public holidays listed below and most bus routes without a Sunday timetable will not run. Please double check with your operator before travelling.

Good Friday : Friday 15th April 2022
Easter Monday : Monday 18th April 2022
May Day : Monday 2nd May 2022
Spring Bank Holiday : Thursday 2nd June 2022
Platinum Jubilee : Friday 3rd June 2022
Summer Bank Holiday : Monday 29th August 2022

Bus Diversions

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe : Monday 4th January 2022 to Monday 30th May 2022. Due to long term Cadent Gas works, Arriva bus route 48 will divert via Dashwood Avenue and will not serve stops along the West Wycombe Road. Other services along here will operate as normal but May 2022 be delayed at times.

Chartridge Lane / Park Road Chesham : Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th April 2022. Due to Affinity Water works part of Chartridge Road will be closed on these days. Buses will divert via Lowndes Road and Bellingdon Road and will not serve the stops on Park Road.

Bois Lane, Chesham : Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th April 2022. Due to Openreach works this road will be closed on these days. After serving Waterside, Pheasant Rise and Chessmount Rise bus routes 71 and 73 will turn back round and divert via the Amersham Road. As such stops on Bois Lane and Bois Moor Road will not be served on these days.

Park Road, Farnham Royal : Thursday 14th to Wednesday 20th April 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on these days. Bus route 53 will need to divert missing the stops on Park Road.

The Broadway, Old Amersham : Sunday 17th April 2022, 8am to 5.30pm. Due to a new monthly Sunday market this road will be closed. Bus route 1A will divert via the A413 and Gore Hill, missing the stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.

Bus Stop Closures

Werner Terrace, Calvert : Monday 28 February to Friday 15 April 2022. Due to HS2 works the stop on Werner Terrace will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stop on Brackley Road instead.

Springhill Road, Grendon Underwood : Thursday 7th to Monday 11th April 2022. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Prison Gates’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers wishing to board are advised to wait where safe and signal to the driver.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common : Thursday 7th to Monday 11th April 2022. Due to works by Freeflow the ‘Royal Oak PH’ stop for journeys towards Slough will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Templewood Lane’ stop instead.

Fulmer Road, Fulmer : Thursday 7th to Monday 11th April 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Old Post Office’ stop for journeys towards Slough will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Black Horse PH’ stop instead.

Simmons Way, Lane End : Friday 8th to Tuesday 12th April 2022. Due to works by Marjen the ‘Simmons Way’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Slayter Road’ stops instead.

Main Road, Walters Ash : Friday 8th to Tuesday 12th April 2022. Due to works on behalf of Affinity Water the ‘Woodcock Avenue’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Kilnwood’ stops instead.

Rose Avenue, Hazlemere : Saturday 9th to Wednesday 13th April 2022. Due to works by CG Utilities the two ‘William Ramsay School’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Rose Avenue’ stops located nearer to the junction with Penn Road instead.

Station Road, Amersham : Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th April 2022. Due to Affinity Water works ‘The Rise’ stop for journeys towards Chesham will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Beech Grove’ stop instead.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common : Monday 11th to Friday 15th April 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the ‘Clare Drive’ stop for journeys towards Slough will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hedgerley Corner’ stop instead.

Sheepcote Dell Road, Holmer Green : Monday 11th to Friday 15th April 2022. Due to works by CG Utilities the ‘Winter’s Way’ stop for journeys towards Amersham will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bat and Ball PH’ stop located on The Common instead.

Wendover Road, Aylesbury / Hampden Hall : Monday 11th to Friday 15th April 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Silver Birch Way’ stop for journeys towards Aylesbury will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hampden Hall’ stop instead.

Northern Woods, Flackwell Heath : Monday 11th to Tuesday 19th April 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the two ‘Green Dragon PH’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Northern Woods’ stops instead.

Bangors Road North, Iver : Monday 1th1 to Thursday 21st April 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the two ‘Black Horse PH’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Trewarden Avenue’ stops instead.

Chalfont Road, Seer Green : Tuesday 12th April 2022, 8.00am to 4.00m. Due to Openreach works the ‘Orchard Road’ stop for journeys towards Gerrards Cross will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Manor Road’ stops instead.

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 12th to Wednesday 20th April 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works the ‘White Horse PH’ stop for journeys travelling away from the town centre will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Riverside’ stop instead.

Little Marlow Road, Marlow : Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th April 2022. Due to works in the vicinity the ‘Spittal Street’ stop for journeys towards Henley will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Foxes Piece’ or ‘High Street’ stops instead.

Chapman Lane, Flackwell Heath : Thursday 14th and Friday 15th April 2022. Due to works in the vicinity the ‘Highlands’ stop for journeys back from High Wycombe will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Chapman Lane’ stop located on Straight Bit instead.

Rose Avenue, Hazlemere : Wednesday 13th to Tuesday 26th April 2022. Due to CG Utilities the two ‘Rose Avenue Shops’ and the ‘Pine Walk’ stop for journeys towards Penn will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘William Ramsay School’ stop as an alternative to ‘Pine Walk’ or the stops on Curzon Road instead of the stops at the shops.

Wycombe End, Holtspur : Saturday 16th to Monday 18th April 2022. Due to works in the vicinity the ‘North Drive’ stop for journeys towards High Wycombe will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Kings Head PH’ stop instead.
