Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 18th April 2022

Week commencing Monday 18th April 2022 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Conventional Surfacing Programme

Willow Avenue, Uxbridge – Including Willow Crescent East, Willow Crescent West and Lime Walk : Monday 21st March 2022 to Saturday 23rd April 2022 – Surfacing works using a road closure in operation from the 21 March 2022 to 14 April 2022 between 8.00am and 6.00pm and a road closure in operation on Tuesday 19 April 2022 to Saturday 23 April 2022 between 8.00pm and 6.00am (excluding bank holidays).

Plane and Patch Programme

Witheridge Lane, Penn – From Pauls Hill to Clay Street : Monday 4th April 2022 to Wednesday 27th April 2022 – Surface patching works using two- and three-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Park Road, Farnham Common – From A355 Farnham Pump Roundabout to West End Lane : Thursday 14th April 2022 to Wednesday 20th April 2022 – Surface patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 7.00pm.

Oaklington Avenue, Little Chalfont – From Amersham Way to Church Grove : Wednesday 20th April 2022 to Monday 25th April 2022 – Surface patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Drainage Improvement Schemes

West End Lane, Weston Turville – Whole of West End Lane : Monday 19th April 2022 to Friday 27th May 2022 – Drainage improvement works using give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Footway Improvement Schemes

Chiltern Avenue, High Wycombe – From Chairborough Road to Booker Lane : Monday 14th February 2022 to Friday 22nd April 2022 – Footway improvement works using a footway closure and 2-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

White Hill, Chesham – From Kirtle Road to White Hill Close : Tuesday 19th April 2022 to Sunday 24th April 2022 – Footway improvement works using a footway 2-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Sunday 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Network Improvement Schemes

A4010 Risborough Road, Stoke Mandeville – Junction of Lower Road and Station Road : Monday 28th March 2022 to Monday 25th April 2022 – Pedestrian crossing improvement works using 3-way temporary traffic lights and lane restrictions in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A413 Amersham Road, Gerrards Cross – Junction of Chalfont Park to Dual Carriageway : Tuesday 19th April 2022 to Tuesday 26th April 2022 – Works to close the gap, effectively creating a no right turn, to the central reservation on the A413 Amersham Road, Gerrards Cross using a lane closure in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Street Lighting Schemes

Benjamin Road, High Wycombe – Outside No. 2 : Tuesday 19 April 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using 4-way temporary traffic lights as traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Priory Avenue, High Wycombe – Outside No. 42, 58, 61, 69 : Tuesday 19th April 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Priory Road, High Wycombe – Outside No. 46 and Cemetery Lodge : Wednesday 20th April 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Glenisters Road, High Wycombe – Junction with Hughenden Road, Junction with Temple End : Wednesday 20th April 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using 4-way temporary traffic lights as traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Bridge Schemes

High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Tuesday 5th October 2021 to Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a footway closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)

A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Tuesday 1st June 2021 to 30th June 2022 – Works will continue on west bound A41 at Stone Bridge to undertake carriageway widening works, construction of new pedestrian island and surfacing. This will be undertaken under 2-way lights between 09.30am and 15.30pm, using a lane closure on the west-bound carriageway.
