Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 30th May 2022
Week commencing Monday 30th May 2022 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Surface Dressing Programme
Chartridge Lane, Lee Common – From Swan Bottom Cross Road to Arrewig Lane : Surface dressing patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
Drainage Improvement Schemes
Hulcott Lane, Bierton – Hulcott Lane junction with A418 to Cane End Lane junction with A418 : Tuesday 3rd May 2022 to Friday 3rd June 2022 – Drainage improvement works using give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Footway Improvement Schemes
Broadlands Avenue, Chesham – Whole of Broadlands Avenue : Monday 9th May 2022 to Monday 6th June 2022 – Foot way improvement works using a footway give and take management system in operation Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Harcourt Road, Dorney Reach – From Marsh Lane to Dorney Reach Road : Monday 23rd May 2022 to Friday 1st July 2022 – Foot way improvement works using a foot way give and take management system in operation Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Street Lighting Schemes
Walkwood Rise, Beaconsfield – Outside No. 36 : Monday 30th May 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am 3.30pm.
Intelligent Traffic Signal Schemes
Marlow Road, Marlow – From junction with Oxford Road to High Street : Monday 23rd May 2022 to Friday 27th May 2022 – Communications cabinet upgrade using two-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Bridge Schemes
High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Tuesday 5th October 2021 to Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a foot way closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)
A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Works will continue on the eastbound A41 Bicester Road on approach to Jackson Road roundabout with narrow lanes on approach whilst construction works for carriageway and footway widening works are being undertaken daytime and two-way traffic flow will be maintained at all times, works also include, kerbing, drainage works, traffic signal ducting, street lighting and utility diversion works. Due to the long Bank Holiday, all works will be made safe at close of play on Wednesday 1st June 2022, with works recommencing on Monday 6th June 2022.
Community Board Schemes
A355 Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common – From Drew Meadow to Scott Close : Monday 30th May 2022 to Wednesday 1st June 2022 – Installation of red road surfacing and slow road markings under stop and go traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.00pm.
