Police appeal for witnesses following a robbery in High Wycombe
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a robbery in High Wycombe.
On Thursday 7th July 2022, around 1.30pm, a man in his eighties was dragged to the floor, punched and had his bag stolen at Cemetery Lodge, Priory Road in High Wycombe.
The bag contained cash, a passport, driving license, mobile phone and other bank cards. The man who carried out the robbery ran off towards the Cemetery Lodge, the Priory Road exit.
The man in his eighties received bruising to his chest but did not require hospital treatment.
The person who carried out the robbery is described as a white man in his late twenties or early thirties, shorter than 6ft with a slim build. He was wearing a blue long sleeved top and blue jeans.
Investigating officer PC Joseph Openshaw, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I would like to appeal to anybody who may have been in this area during this time or driving past and witnessed anything, or have dash cam footage, to please get in touch.
