Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 19th September 2022

Week commencing Monday 19th September 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

A Sunday service will operate on most routes on Monday 19th September 2022.

Bus Diversions

North Orbital Road, Denham : Friday 19th August 2022 to Tuesday 25th October 2022, 10.00pm to 6.00am. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed overnight during this period. Night time 331 and 724 journeys will divert missing Denham.

Wycombe Road and Browns Road, Holmer Green : Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st September 2022, 9.00am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed between Sawpit Lane and The Common at these times. Buses will divert and not serve the stops on Wycombe Road, Browns Road or Pond Approach.

Soulbury Road / Stewkley Road, Stewkley : Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd September 2022. Due to Anglian Water works this road will be closed on these days. Bus route 162 will divert and not serve the stops between High Street North in Stewkley and High Road in Soulbury.

Stevenson Road / Jones Way, Hedgerley : Tuesday 20th to Friday 23rd September 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works these roads will be closed. Bus route 83 will turn at the ‘Village Green’ stop in front of the stops and will be unable to serve the other stop further north on Hedgerley Hill or the stops on Stevenson Road and Jones Way during these days.

Bus Stop Closures

Cam Mead, Aylesbury : Wednesday 10th August 2022 to Wednesday 2nd November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the stop on Cam Mead will be missed during this period. Passengers are advised to use a temporary stop provided round the corner on Long Meadow.

Wendover Road, Hampden Hall, Aylesbury : Monday 15th August 2022 to Sunday 9th October 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Silver Birch Way’ stop for journeys towards Aylesbury will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hampden Hall’ stop instead.

Holland Avenue, Aylesbury : Tuesday 30th August 2022 to Monday 24th October 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Holland Road’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Quarrendon Avenue’ stops instead.

Chilton Road, Long Crendon : Tuesday 6th September 2022 to Sunday 6th November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Bonnersfield’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stops located on Carters Lane or Chearsley Road instead.

Holland Road, Aylesbury : Thursday 15th September 2022 to Sunday 9th November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Holland Road’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Quarrendon Avenue’ stops instead.

Totteridge Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 20th to Thursday 29th September 2022. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Duke Street’ stops will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Lucas Road’ stops instead.

A4155 Chapel Street, Marlow : Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd September 2022. Due to PCA Build works the ‘Spittal Street’ stop will not be served. Passengers advised to use alternative town centre stops; for Service 28M towards Lane End or Service 800 / 850 towards Henley use ‘Foxes Piece’ or ‘West Street’. For Marlow town local services 155, 158 and 160 use ‘High Street’.

Main Road, Naphill : Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd September 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to works on behalf of Openreach, the ‘Holly End’ stops will not be served. Passengers are advised to use stops at ‘Purssells Meadow’ or ‘Woodcock Avenue’ instead.

Desborough Avenue, High Wycombe : Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd September 2022. Due to Thames Water works, the ‘West End Road’ stops will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Plumer Road’ stops instead.

Windmill Road, Fulmer : Thursday 22nd to Monday 26th September 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Black Horse PH’ stop will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Old Post Office’ stops on Fulmer Road or the next stops along Windmill Road instead.
