Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 26th September 2022

Week commencing Monday 26th September 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

Whielden Street and Whielden Lane, Amersham : Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th September 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed. Buses will divert via the A413 bypass and Gore Hill. Stops on The Broadway, Whileden Street and the ‘Hospital’ stops on Whielden Lane will not be served at these times.

Old Mill Road, Denham : Monday 26th September 2022 to Friday 14th October 2022. Due to Cadent Gas works this road will be closed. Bus route 581 will divert via Cheapside Lane and not serve the stops on Old Mill Road or Village Road.

Hughenden Road, High Wycombe : Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed between Coates Lane and Glenister Road. Bus route 30 and 300 will divert missing the stops along Hughenden Road, and the first stop on Hughenden Avenue towards Downley.

Bus Stop Closures

Cam Mead, Aylesbury : Wednesday 10th August to Wednesday 2nd November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the stop on Cam Mead will be missed during this period. Passengers are advised to use a temporary stop provided round the corner on Long Meadow.

Wendover Road, Hampden Hall, Aylesbury : Monday 15th August to Sunday 9th October 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Silver Birch Way’ stop for journeys towards Aylesbury will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hampden Hall’ stop instead.

Chilton Road, Long Crendon : Tuesday 6th September 2022 to Sunday 6th November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Bonnersfield’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stops located on Carters Lane or Chearsley Road instead.

Holland Road, Aylesbury : Thursday 15th September 2022 to Sunday 9th November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Holland Road’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Quarrendon Avenue’ stops instead.

Totteridge Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 20th to Thursday 29th September 2022. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Duke Street’ stops will not be served. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Lucas Road’ stops instead.

Windmill Road, Fulmer : Thursday 22nd to Monday 26th September 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Black Horse PH’ stop will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Old Post Office’ stops on Fulmer Road or the next stops along Windmill Road instead.

Main Road, Naphill : Monday 26th to Wednesday 28th September 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Openreach works the two ‘Holly End’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Purssells Meadow’ or ‘Woodcock Avenue’ stops instead.

Eskdale Avenue, Chesham : Tuesday 27th to Thursday 29th September 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the two ‘Codmore Cross’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stops located further along Eskdale Avenue instead.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal : Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th September 2022. Due to Freeflow works the two ‘Farnham Pump’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Fairfield Lane’ stops instead.

Gold Hill West, Chalfont St Peter : Thursday 29th September 2022, 8.00am to 5.00pm. Due to Affinity Water works the two ‘Jolly Farmer’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Gold Hill West’ stops located nearer to the junction with Gold Hill North.

Amersham Road, Chenies : Friday 30th September 2022 to Sunday 2nd October 2022. Due to UKPN works the two ‘Chenies Road’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Little Green Street Farm’ stops on Green Street instead.
