| February 10, 2023

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an incident of arson in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.

On Friday 3rd February 2023, at around 11.55pm, two people gained entry to a construction yard on Hollybush Hill via the main road. Once inside they lit three separate fires across the yard, causing severe damage to an outhouse / office, a plant machinery digger and a Ford Transit van.

During the incident nobody was injured.

One of those involved in the incident is described as a white man, of large build and wearing a black North Face hooded jacket, navy blue Nike joggers, black Nike Air Force trainers and a black balaclava. He may have sustained burns to his hands due to the spark from the flames.

The other person involved in the incident is described as wearing a black rain jacket, a black hoody and black trousers.

Both of those involved in the incident are believed to have travelled to the location in a white Peugeot Boxer van.

PC Heather Gray, said: ‘I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about this offence to please come forward.

Fortunately, nobody was injured by the fire; however, this took place in a residential area so it could have been even worse, although the damage to the yard is significant.
