Appeal for witnesses launched by police following a serious injury road traffic collision in Aylesbury
An appealing for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury road traffic collision in Aylesbury.
On Wednesday 15th February 2023, at around 9.45am, a man in his seventies was walking along Taylor Road when he was struck by a white Toyota C-HR. The vehicle did not stop at the scene.
The man in his seventies sustained life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital.
Investigating officer PC Julia Stroud, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have dash-cam footage, to please come forward.

Police have arrested a 44 year old man and a 37 year old man, both from London, on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Both men have been released on bail until Wednesday 3rd May 2023.
