Revised bin collection dates over the Easter bank holiday 2023 across Buckinghamshire

During the Easter bank holiday 2023 a revised schedule of bin collection dates will be in operation in the Wycombe area and across Buckinghamshire.

There will be no bin collections on Good Friday 7th April 2023 or bank holiday Monday 10th April 2023. During the following week collections will take place one day later than normal.

The revised waste and recycling collection dates are as follows :

As of Saturday 1st April 2023 the Household Recycling Centres in Buckinghamshire moved to their summer opening hours of 9.00am to 6.00pm. All Household Recycling Centre sites will also remain open over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, including Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Anyone visiting the High Wycombe or Aston Clinton HRC can now also stock up on Buckinghamshire Community Compost. This peat-free, organic compost has been made locally from recycled organic matter including garden waste from Buckinghamshire. The compost is PAS 100 certified and only £5.50 per 40-litre bag or £15.50 for three bags. Purchases can be made by card payment only. Proceeds from the sale of this compost will go to local good causes.

The council plans to expand the availability of this compost to all 10 HRCs in the future.
