Residents and staff at a care home in High Wycombe took part in a sports day.

Residents and staff at Shelburne Lodge care home, in High Wycombe, laced up their trainers and warmed-up for a joint Barchester Sports Day during Carer Week!

The day was hosted by another Barchester Care home, Chalfont Lodge in Chalfont St Peter and had several other care homes attend the sports day.

The day was organised by Chalfont Lodge’s Physiotherapist, Mansukh Chander, who created a day of fun for everyone.

Staff and residents took to their marks in the sack race, relay race and three-legged races as guests cheered on.

The teams battled it out to be crowned sporting champions before being treated to a buffet of hotdogs, burgers and homemade sweet and savoury delicacies.
