Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 18th September 2023

Week commencing Monday 18th September 2023 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Plane and Patch Works

A412 Denham Avenue, Denham – A40 to Village Road : Monday 11th September 2023 to Friday 22nd September 2023 – Plane and patch works using a road closure in operation 8.00pm to 6.00am.

A422 Stratford Road, Leckhampstead – Junction with Stratford Road : From Monday 18th September 2023 to Friday 22nd September 2023 – Plane and patch works using a road closure in operation 8.00pm to 6.00am.

Conventional Surfacing works

Dollicott, Haddenham – Thame Road to Rudds Lane : From Wednesday 13th September 2023 to Monday 18th September 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full closure in operation 7.30am to 5.30pm.

Thame Road, Haddenham – Thame Road roundabout to Dollicot junction : From Monday 18th September 2023 to Thursday 28th September 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure in operation 8.00pm to 6.00am.

Tyzack Road, Larkfield Close, Rushbrooke Close and St. Andrews Close, High Wycombe : From Monday 18th September 2023 to Wednesday 20th September 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure in operation 7.00am to 7.00pm.

Blind Lane Service Road, Bourne End from Marlow Road junction to Northern Woods junction : From Wednesday 20th September 2023 to Friday 29th September 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure in operation 7.00am to 7.00pm.

Footways resurfacing works

Edward Close, Aylesbury – From Dalesford up to Diane Walk : From Monday 11th September 2023 to Friday 22nd September 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure.

Drainage works

Swan Lane / Castle Street, Marsh Gibbon : From Monday 14th August 2023 to Sunday 1st October 2023 – Drainage works using a full road closure 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

High Street, Old Amersham from Church Street to Mill Lane : From Monday 4th September 2023 to 13th October 2023 – Drainage works using two-way signals, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 7.00pm.

Micro surfacing roadworks

Headline works only, using a road closure Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.

• Roberts Road, High Wycombe : Monday 18th September 2023 to Tuesday 19th September 2023.
• Park Lane, Hazlemere : Tuesday 19th September 2023 to Wednesday 20th September 2023.
• New Road, Amersham : Wednesday 20th September 2023 to Thursday 21st September 2023.
• Hughenden Road, High Wycombe : Thursday 21st September 2023 to Monday 25th September 2023 from 5.00am to 12.00pm. No weekend working.
• Southfield Road, High Wycombe : Sunday 17th September 2023 to Monday 18th September 2023.

Iron and lining works will be scheduled once the material has settled on the road.

Network improvement works

Brackley Lane, Calvert – Whole length : From Monday 18th September 2023 – Parking restrictions in place whilst lining works are being carried out 9.30am to 3.30pm.

School Hill, Charndon – Whole length : From Monday 18th September 2023 to Monday 25th September 2023 – Road lining, refresh road markings, traffic sign installation from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Street lighting work

Various locations in High Wycombe : Thursday 10th August 2023 to Friday 29th September 2023 – As part of ththe 2023 rolling programme, various outdated street lighting lanterns will be replaced across Buckinghamshire, starting in High Wycombe converting 680 lanterns and upgrading them with LED energy-efficient lighting. This saves approximately 70% of the energy previously used, whilst providing better quality lighting and reducing future maintenance costs. So far 476 lanterns have been replaces which is around 70% of the total that require replacing.

Great Western Street, Aylesbury : Monday 4th September 2023 to Thursday 21st September 2023 – LED lantern upgrade works carried out under a full road closure for 14 nights from 8.00pm to 6.00am. So far 74% to 94% of the LED lantern upgrades have been completed.

Structural reconstruction works

Dorney Cattle Grid : Monday 18th September 2023 to Friday 22nd September 2023 – Works to alleviate noise disruption from the cattle grid will be carried out under a full road closure. The B3026 Common Road will be closed for 32 hours continuously at the location of the cattle grid from 9.00am on Wednesday 20th September 2023 to 5.00pm on Thursday 21st September 2023.
