Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 20th November 2023
Week commencing Monday 20th November 2023 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Surfacing Works
A413 Buckingham Road, Padbury : Thursday 16th November 2023 to Monday 20th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Tockley Road and Bredwood Close, Burnham : Thursday 16th November 2023 to Tuesday 21st November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 7.30am and 7.00pm.
Main Street, Grendon Underwood : Monday 20th November 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
Leighton Road, Wing : Monday 20th November 2023 to Wednesday 22nd November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
High Street, Wing : Wednesday 22nd November 2023 to Saturday 25th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Village Road, Dorney : Wednesday 22nd November 2023 to Monday 27th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure from Wednesday 22nd November 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023 between 9.30am to 3.00pm. On Monday 27th November 2023 works will be undertaken using two-way traffic signals between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
High Street, Wing : Wednesday 22nd November 2023 – Ironwork adjustments before the surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
Footway Resurfacing Works
Wellesley Avenue, Iver – Ritchings Way to Bathurst Walk : Monday 2nd October 2023 to Saturday 25th November 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and multi way traffic signals. In operation between 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Amersham Road, Chesham Bois – From speed limit sign (near Chiltern Road entrance) to The Leys : Monday 30th October 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure in operation between 10.00am and 3.00pm. Phase 1 will finish on Friday 24 November 2023 due to the to a pause in local non-emergency roadworks over the Christmas period. Phase 2 will recommence from Monday 12th February 2024 and finish on Saturday 2nd March 2024.
Craigwell Avenue, Aylesbury : Monday 13th November 2023 to Monday 22nd January 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management. In operation between 7.00am to 7.00pm.
Rowland Way, Aylesbury : Monday 20th November 2023 to Tuesday 19th December 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and multi-way traffic signals where required. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Chartridge Lane and Park Road, Chesham : Monday 20th November 2023 to Saturday 27th January 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and multi-way traffic signals where required. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm. The works will be done in two phases to allow a break for Christmas. Phase 1 will be completed on Friday 22nd December 2023. Phase 2 will commence on Monday 8th January 2024 and complete on Saturday 27th January 2024.
Drainage Works
Kingsmead, Monks Risborough : Monday 30th October 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023 – Drainage works using both a road closure and give and take traffic management. In operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Road Lining Works
A40 Oxford Road, Denham : Saturday 18th November 2023 to Monday 20th November 2023 – Road Lining refreshing works using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am, weekend works.
A41 Waddesdon. Warmstone Lane to County Boundary : Tuesday 21st November 2023 to Saturday 25th November 2023 – Road Lining refreshing work using multi-way traffic signals. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Plane and Patch Works
North Lee Lane, Terrick : Wednesday 22nd November 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023 – Plane and Patch surfacing works using a road closure. In operation between 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Street Lighting
Marlow – Various locations : Upgrade of LED Lanterns.
Aylesbury – Various locations : Upgrade of LED Lanterns.
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of illuminated signs and bollards (located on central traffic islands and roundabouts).
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of damaged street lighting columns and removal or damaged stumps.
Network Improvement Works
A422 Brackley Road, Westbury – From 50m West of Playing Fields Road to 50m East of Main Street : Monday 13th November 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023 – Installation of a puffin crossing – Phase 2 works to include electrical works and installation of traffic signals. Works will be carried out under 4-way lights, in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
